Hi, I’m Asma Munni, the founder of Asma Bookkeeping, and I’m a professional bookkeeper
with more than 15 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with CPA firms, accounting firms, small and
medium-sized business owners, entrepreneurs, property owners, real estate investors, and
e-commerce businesses, health care, construction, and many more.

My goal has always been simple: help businesses keep accurate books, understand their
financials, and make better decisions with confidence.

I understand that bookkeeping can easily become one of those tasks that gets pushed to the
bottom of the list. Bank transactions pile up, receipts get misplaced, accounts stop being

My Background

I have a Master’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, along with more than 15
years of practical experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

Before building my own bookkeeping business, I worked as an Accounts Manager for a U.S.
multinational company with 27 branches worldwide. That experience gave me a strong
foundation in financial reporting, account management, reconciliations, and working with
complex business operations.

Today, I bring that same attention to detail and financial discipline to CPA firms, accounting
firms, and small and medium-sized businesses.

I have also completed 2000+ bookkeeping client jobs, giving me experience with businesses
across different industries, accounting systems, and financial situations.

I don’t believe in simply handing a business owner a Profit & Loss statement and saying, “Here
are your numbers.”

I want my clients to understand what those numbers mean.

That means taking the time to properly reconcile accounts, investigate unusual transactions,
clean up errors, maintain an organized chart of accounts, and provide financial reports that can
actually be used to make business decisions.

I also believe in being proactive. If I notice something that doesn’t look right, I would rather ask
the question and investigate it than simply categorize the transaction and move on.
